Most Frequently Asked Questions

Orthotics normally take 12-15 business days to be fully completed.  We will contact you by phone when they are in the office and ready for pick-up.  If you haven’t heard from us after 15 business days, please feel free to contact us to check on the status of your order.

You can pick up your orthotics/shoes anytime during office hours.  If you wish to specifically see Alan, Jayme or Ryan at pick-up, please contact us to schedule an appointment to ensure they are in the office.

We recommend trying out your orthotics for a minimum of 2 weeks before calling the office for an adjustment.  If you have never worn orthotics before, you should be gradually increasing the amount of time you wear your orthotics daily.  If you are still experiencing some degree of discomfort after 3 weeks, contact the office to schedule an appointment for an adjustment.

Mature gait patterns usually develop by the age of 3, but the normal range is anywhere from 3 to 5 years old.  Depending on the development of your child, they could be ready for orthotics as early as 3 years old.  If you suspect that your child is exhibiting signs or symptoms of abnormal lower extremity alignment, we recommend bringing your child in for an assessment.

Orthotics typically need to be replaced every 2-3 years. We encourage you to have your orthotics checked every 2 years or sooner to make sure that the materials are still performing optimally.

Every insurance plan is different. We recommend that you check with your insurance provider for your plan details prior to coming in for your appointment.

No, we do not submit claims directly to the insurance companies. We provide all patients with the necessary forms to submit to their providers. If you need any further documentation, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Shoes may be exchanged up to 30 days after pick-up.  Please note: we will not take back shoes that have been worn and show signs of wear.  If you are unsure if your shoes fit properly or are comfortable, please wear them indoors to test them out.
